‘We are increasing the capacity of existing contact tracing processes.
We are partnering with the private sector to set up a national tracking, tracing and monitoring system of all people infected with the coronavirus and those they have been in contact with.’ – Cyril Ramaphosa

Your community needs you!

Becoming a contract tracer means assisting the community around you by slowing down and even halting the spread of a disease. If someone has been diagnosed, that person must know that isolation for them and quarantining of individuals with whom they have been in close contact with, for a certain period of time, would help eradicate, in this case, COVID-19. You will have to be sensitive to the person’s needs and empathetic to gain their trust, easing the process of obtaining information, vital to tracking down the possible pattern of it’s spread.
