Because of the difficulty in isolation and because of the living proximities in most disadvantaged areas, it is almost an inescapable fact that these communities bear the brunt of COVID-19 in a number of cases and hence it’s spread.
These are also the areas suffering even more economic hardship than before. Finding contact tracers in these communities not only helps by providing employment but because of the difficulty inaccessibility to most of these, cultural sensitivities and close-knit relationships in these areas we find that these individuals make the perfect candidates to bolster contact tracing efforts,
