The world’s population is collectively facing one of its largest threats in modern history. Contact tracing an epidemic is defined as the systematic process of identification, assessment, and management of people who have been exposed and has successfully been used to contain diseases like the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Digital Footprint’s mission against the current threat of COVID-19 is to be the ears on the ground, the helping hand that brings this threat to a standstill.
In 2019 the unemployment rate in the South African economy reached nearly 28%. Our social responsibility as an organization apart from the fight against COVID-19 hopes to assist the economic recovery and provide much-needed work to those individuals who heed the call for this much-needed service.
The provincial and national government, as well as Public and Private entities, are all free to approach us to initiate, bolster or run their contact tracing efforts by providing the necessary qualified and screened workforce and services to achieve this.
